individuals share their perspectives of loved ones who performed horrific acts of crime .

In season 6, episode 7, the story of Alec Kreider and Thomas Alan Haines, Lisa Ann Haines, and Kevin Haines is shown from the viewpoint of his father. Alec Kreider ends up incarcerated where he commits suicide.

The show is titled I Have to Do the Right Thing and is described as When Tim Kreider discovers proof that his son, Alec, was responsible for a horrific crime, he knows what the right thing to do is; his instincts as a father tell him something else.
